S Jonas Detecting and monitoring neurological diseases early on can greatly influence how the disease progresses and lead to better treatment results. In this presentation, we will explore how new technologies, like smartphones and smartwatches, could be used to achieve early detection. Since these devices are widely available and commonly used, they offer a valuable opportunity to tackle a major healthcare challenge. By analyzing the data they collect, we may be able to spot subtle signs and symptoms of neurological disorders and track how these diseases develop over time. Catching these diseases early is especially important for neurodegenerative conditions, as it allows doctors to intervene sooner, which can lead to better outcomes for patients.
